Catch Wynonna Judd at the Kansas Star Casino on December 12 at 7:30 p.m. Judd has sold over 30 million albums worldwide throughout her career, solo and alongside her mother as half of the legendary duo The Judds. Judd has recorder 20 #1 hits, and has received over 60 music awards. She was once names  “the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline” by Rolling Stone, and received Top Female Vocalist of the Year  at the 1994 ACM Awards.  Tickets start at $29 and will only be available to those over the age of 21. 


Wichita State University vs. Utah Runnin' Utes

Wichita State University vs. U
Wichita State University's 4-4 Shocker basketball team faces off against Utah's 7-1 Runnin' Utes on December 12 at 2:30 p.m. The game, held at Intrust bank Arena, will air on ESP2 and ESP3. Grab a ticket and head downtown to catch the game!
 
Tickets start at $14, and can be purchased at the INTRUST Bank Arena Box Office, online at selectaseat.com, by phone at (855) 755-SEAT, and at all Select-A-Seat outlets.

The Nutcracker Ballet at Century II

Ballet Wichita presents the Nutcracker Ballet this weekend!, Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 12, anda again at on Sunday, Dec. 13 in the Century II Concert Hall. 
 
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Box Office, online through WichitaTIX, or by phone at 316-303-8100.
Tickets will be available for $19.80 ,$27.50, $38.50 and $49.50.

A Christmas Story at Century II

Music Theatre for Young People presents the holiday classic "A Christmas Story" on Dec. 11-13 in Century II's Mary Jane Teall Theatre. With performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11-12, and at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, Music Theatre For Young People's rendition of the original film is sure to be a hit! tickets are available online or by phone at (316) 303-8100. 


Holiday Toy Festival at Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum

Holiday Toy Festival at Wichit

Celebrating its 75th anniversary, The Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum partners with the Sunflower Woodworkers Guild this weekend for the Holiday Toy Festival. From 1-5 p.m. through Dec. 13, the museum's guests can go back to a time when toys were still handmade. The Sunflower Woodworkers Guild members will display and sell their handcrafted toys to benefit the museum. While some toys will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday, selected major works will be featured in the live auction to be held on Dec. 13. Bids for the auction can be placed prior to the auction date, and can be place in person, by email or over the phone.


Santa at the Barn at the Segwick County Zoo

Santa at the Barn at the zoo

Sedgwick County Zoo guests can stop by the barn from 1-4 p.m. to see the it decorated with the animals' stockings. Await the arrival of Santa with other guests, and visit with him when he arrives! Children can play with farm toys and watch animal demonstrations featuring animals that are likely to be found in a manger!

Demonstrations will begin every half hour from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. This event is covered by regular admission. Members are free with membership card and photo ID.


Visit Santa and his Reindeer at Bradley Fair, Dec. 13

Bradley Fair shoppers on Sunday are in for a surprise! From 1-3 p.m., guests meet Santa Claus and his reindeer, too! Pictures with Santa and the reindeer will also be available! Have you been naughty or nice? You can find out a Bradley fair. Guests should  bring a camera to take free pictures.
