2008 Events

For the month of August the featured artist will be Pastel/Portrait artist Ruth Finnell. Ruth will be exhibiting her most recent work till August 27th. She will be hosting an opening reception during the Wichita Final Friday Gallery Crawl on July 25th. The hours will be 6:30pm  to 10:00pm

Also showing will be consignment artist/ceramist Brandon Smith.

Coming in September, Gallery President and Photographer John Ellert will be the featured artist. The consignment artist will be ceramist Terry Corbett.

About Gallery XII

An Art Gallery in Old Town Wichita featuring original works of art.

Gallery XII, the winner of the 2004 Arts Advocate-Group Award by the Wichita Arts Council, is an artists's cooperative fine art gallery located in Wichita's Old Town District. The gallery was established in 1977 and showcases the diversity of the fine arts in the Wichita area by exhibiting the works of over 30 local & regional artists (19) member/partners & 15+consignment artists), in a wide range of different media, styles & subject matter.

The Gallery represents a diverse variety of two- dimensional original fine art. Media includes watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, printmaking and photography. Images range from traditional to abstract. Also available is a selection of fine original pottery, sculpture, and hand blown glass.

Whether you are interested in viewing art, selecting a gift or acquiring an addition to your own collection, Gallery XII invites you to visit. A cooperative leasing plan is also available, as well as lay-a-way and gift certificates.
