Gallery XII, the winner of the 2004 Arts Advocate-Group Award by the Wichita Arts Council, is an artists's cooperative fine art gallery located in Wichita's Old Town District. The gallery was established in 1977 and showcases the diversity of the fine arts in the Wichita area by exhibiting the works of over 30 local & regional artists (19) member/partners & 15+consignment artists), in a wide range of different media, styles & subject matter.
The Gallery represents a diverse variety of two- dimensional original fine art. Media includes watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, printmaking and photography. Images range from traditional to abstract. Also available is a selection of fine original pottery, sculpture, and hand blown glass.
Whether you are interested in viewing art, selecting a gift or acquiring an addition to your own collection, Gallery XII invites you to visit. A cooperative leasing plan is also available, as well as lay-a-way and gift certificates.

This March, the featured artist will be printmaker, painter and bookmaker Doug Billings. An opening reception will be from 6-10 pm Feb. 26th during the Final Friday Gallery Walk. The title of Doug's show is: Wichita Revealed: An Artist's Perspective. It will include three acrylic paintings, five hand pulled original prints and 8 handmade books including the Allen-Lambe House of Frank Lloyd Wright. The exhibit will be on display till March 24th.
The following month of April the featured artist; for the first time is photographer Bob Benson. Exhibiting with Bob will be consignment artist/ceramist Paul Pfrehm. Their opening will be on Final Friday March 26th.
