Providing same-day medical, dental, and mental health care at three locations around Wichita.
Hunter Health Clinic was established in 1976 to serve Native Americans. In 1985 our health center was expanded to serve all persons. That year, we received federal funding and became the first Community Health Center in Kansas and expanded our services to homeless persons. In 1990, we opened additional sites and now operate three satellite clinics. Over 80% of our patients lack insurance, one is six are homeless and over 25% are best served in languages other than English.
