Our business began as Johnson & Binford when our grandfather, Orie, planted and harvested the first crops. From the first fruit stand at Douglas and West Street in west Wichita, to the original location of Johnson’s Garden Center on West 13th Street, the business has grown and expanded. With the opening of Johnson’s Garden Center’s location in east Wichita in the early 1980s, the demand for landscape services was cultivated.
In December 2007, Johnson’s Legacy Landscapes became a stand-alone company, whose emphasis will be to continue to provide professional landscape consultation, design and installation services. We are very excited about this opportunity to divide and transplant, allowing for future growth.
Like our grandfather and father, who instilled a legacy of fairness, honesty and hard work, we will continue to nurture this legacy through Johnson’s Legacy Landscapes.
