What is Spray Tanning?
Spray tanning is the newest phase in the application of self-tanning products. The bronzers made today are very natural looking and are completely harmless. These solutions include DHA (dihydroxyacetone), which works by reacting with the keratin protein in the top (or dead) layer of your skin.
The solution is applied with the use of a low-pressure airbrush gun by a technician, which allows for an even coverage compared to a booth application. The fine mist from the airbrush ensures a perfectly even application to the skins surface and as there is no rubbing or overspray from an automated booth setting, it avoids streaking, orange palms and dirty looking knees and elbows.
What is DHA?
DHA is a colorless derivative of sugar cane that has been FDA approved for more than 30 years. DHA darkens the skin by interacting with the amino acids in the dead surface cells found in the outer-most layer of the skin causing it to darken naturally.
Is Spray Tanning Safe?

What do I wear during my session?
You may wer lingerie (bra, underwear, thong, etc), a bathing suit of opt for no tan lines at all. Do not wear silk, satin or nylon as the solution may stain these fabrics.
How long will my spray tan last?
Your spray tan will last 7 to 10 days depending on how well you take care of your skin and also depending on your skin type and activities. For maximum results, be sure to follow the recommendations for preparing and maintaining your spray tan. Instructions will be given to you at the end of your session.
How often can I get a Spray Tan?
You may get a spray tan as often as you like. Most people like to get spray tanned once a week and it is completely safe to do so.
Preparing for you Spray Tan
* Exfoliate your skin the night before or morning of your appointment to remove dead skin cells.
* Avoid wearing makeup, perfumes, lotions, oils, deodorants or any product on the skin that would create a barrier. Your skin must be completely clean and dry for the best results.
* Shave/wax at least 8 hours before your session to minimize irritation.
* Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and undergarments to your appt. or bring to change into.
* Sunburns have a possibility of peeling, which will peel your spray tan off. Do no get a spray tan until your skin has peeled.
