About Us
What is the Professional Research Network of Kansas?
Professional Research Network of Kansas (PRN of Kansas) is a local medical research center that provides a wide variety of new clinical trial opportunities to Wichita and the surrounding areas. Since 2000 our staff and physicians, with over 35 years of combined research experience, are dedicated to making your participation in clinical studies safe, educational, and rewarding. PRN has successfully conducted over 150 clinical trials in Diabetes, Depression, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Asthma, Epilepsy, Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and many others.
From the beginning, PRN has constantly evolved to meet the needs of our volunteers by providing each one with the individual treatment and information needed to lead a better, healthier life. PRN believes in being a positive force within the community through education and participation in several community events including; The Women's Fair, The Senior Expo, E.C. Tyree community day, and local events to benefit the American Diabetes Association .
Why should I volunteer?
Being a participant provides an opportunity for you to learn more about your particular medical condition, work closely with medical professionals, and contribute valuable information about how medicines can affect your condition. Most of our trials involve medications that are in the latter phases of research. This means there is much known about these drugs and their side effects. Benefits that may be available to participants include:
- Additional wellness and dietary counseling
- Medical tests and diagnostics at no charge to you or your insurance
- Study related medication at no charge
- Reimbursement for your time and travel
- The satisfaction of contributing to the future of medical science
We build our reputation on quality care
Located in the beautiful Riverview building in downtown Wichita, PRN provides a safe, friendly environment for our participants. When you volunteer, you will always be treated with dignity and respect by our caring staff. Although PRN collaborates with pharmaceutical companies and our network of physicians, we are not a regular medical office. Because of this, our coordinators are able to offer a personal approach to your specific needs and really listen to your concerns. It is one of our goals at PRN to make your participation in a clinical study feel more comfortable and a little less...clinical.
You can change the future of medicine for you, your children and generations ahead by volunteering. Contact PRN of Kansas to see if participating in a clinical trial is right for you!
