Online. On Ground. On Your Schedule.
Imagine earning a college degree in an environment with no barriers. Living your life while you change it. Whether you’re continuing your education or returning to school, we offer a quality education that meets your needs – and your schedule. Whenever, wherever, however you want it.
- Choose the class format that works for you. We offer classes that can be taken completely online, so you can do your assignments when it works for your schedule. For those who prefer a face-to-face interaction with instructors and classmates, we also offer on ground classes. You can attend class one night a week for six weeks – no need to give up multiple nights for an entire semester just to finish one class.
- Tackle your college education a few weeks at a time. Our six-week sessions help keep you college education, and your life, on schedule.
- Take a timeout without penalty. “Stopping out” lets you take a break from coursework. When life happens to you, we’ll adjust. When you’re ready to return, we’ll help you rework your degree plan and get you back on track.
Keep Your Credits
We will accept up to 64 credits from any accredited two-year college, and all credits from any accredited four-year college. Plus, we have a number of 2 + 2 agreements with local community colleges to help you stay on track through your entire degree program.

We will also give you credit for professional training and licensure, as well as military training and experience.
Setting You Up for Success
Every learner is given an Academic Success Coach, who will see you through your entire learning experience at Southwestern College Professional Studies. Your coach is a resource who can help answer your questions, anything from “how do I enroll?” and “what’s a FAFSA?” to “what class should I take?” and “when will I graduate?” Plus, your coach will update your degree plan on a regular basis to help you stay on track. Some colleges give you an advisor who has other responsibilities to worry about, but our coaches are solely focused on helping our learners succeed.
