It is a juried competition, with the top 100 works traveling the United States, debuting at the Coutts Museum, 110 N. Main in El Dorado Kansas. All works included in the show are available for sale.

Prima Trio, the Grand Prize Gold Medal Winners of the Prestigious Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the Prima Trio distinguishes itself not only with its remarkable playing , but through the repertoire it performs. Prima Trio's repertoire ranges from beloved chamber music standards to such exotic gems as Armenian composer Aram Khatchaturian's soulful "Trio for Violin, Clarinet and Piano" to S. I. Glick's festive "The Klezmer's Wedding." "Serenade" by American composer Peter Schickele (aka P.D.Q. Bach) is the grand finale of every concert.
