About Exploration Place
At Exploration Place, Kansas’ premier science center, located in Wichita’s downtown Museums on the River district, discover seven hands-on exhibit areas for all ages: flight, Kansas, a medieval three-story castle, a train model display of Kansas, farming, special traveling exhibits and at tot's spot. In the state’s largest digital domed venue, the Boeing Dome Theater and Planetarium, travel to faraway destinations. Head outdoors to Exploration Park or the 18-hole MiniGolf course. Amenities include free parking, Explore Store, The Snack Bar, and family restrooms.
