Children ages two and up are invited to enjoy Sunny Days Story Time at Botanica!

Botanica debuts its new Children’s Library in early February, and you and your children are welcome to come enjoy it! Story time will feature music, movement and a theme-related craft. Each week, story time will feature a different nature-based tale. Sunny Days Story Time will be held every Thursday at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting and is included with admission or membership.

Featuring topics on plant and animal life in the gardens, the program will include hands-on learning and activities in the garden. (Weather permitting.) Lessons are designed for Kindergarten through fifth grade and follow curriculum guidelines.

Classes meet most first Thursdays at 1 p.m. and Fridays at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Classes are priced at $6 for members with an $18 cap per family and at $8 for non-members with a $24 cap per family. Fees include admission to the gardens, including Children’s Garden. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by Noon the day before the class.
